The programme is mainly divided into three periods, and activities are under different sectors; the sectors are as follow:

In the country of sending organization, the local communities/authorities are:

  • Universities.

    Most of our participants are selected from universities, such as students, young teachers, trainers in the education area. Therefore, universities are keen to the programme, they actively engaged into the policy agenda. We want our programme and participants have positive impacts on these issues.

  • Local authorities, such as governments, education department.

    Education related departments are interested in the international exchange programmes. They are looking for advanced experiences and positive cultural impacts on local level. Therefore, in our programme, authorities, such as the YangZhou government is engaged in the process. In the country of hosting organization, the local communities are:

    1. UK Hunan Business Association;

    2. Cambridge Chinese Association.

    3. Sino-British Business Alliance.

    4. London Chamber of commerce.

    5. The Confederation of British Industry

    These communities are active in the charity and educational activities, and many experts and professionals possess accesses to different areas of education. Local communities will help our volunteers in daily tasks by providing advices and guidance if needed.

    Distribution of tasks and responsibilities

    Tasks and responsibilities will be distributed according to the certain criteria and agreements within the organization.
  • Professional lawyers will be responsible for the legal services, and offer professional advices for the international activities and issues.
  • Certain staff will be responsible for administrative procedures and issues, including documentation, registration, booking, etc.
  • Directors of the organization will be responsible for the whole programme, and ensure the whole programme of its legitimacy under the regulation.
  • The organizations are fully responsible for the safety of participants.
  • The organizations are fully responsible for the competence of the programme.

    Modalities and cooperation with partners

    Organizations will cooperate to make better efforts for the programmes. There are certain agreements and modalities among partnership organizations. There are three different perspectives in terms of modalities and cooperation:

    1. Sending organizations:

  • Selecting volunteers in cooperation with hosting organizations
  • Practical arrangements, including travel insurance, pre-departure training, visa application, etc.
  • Providing support to volunteers during all the phases of the project, risk prevention and management.
  • Participating in signing volunteering agreement with the receiving organizations.
  • Enabling follow-up activities, arranging participants with the EVS feedback and evaluation
  • Reintegrating to the society after coming back, including the dissemination and promotion assistance

    2. Hosting organizations:

  • Developing a programme in cooperation with volunteers and partner organizations.
  • Organising activities, providing safe and convenient working environment. During the programme period, providing accommodation, lodging, local transportation, pocket money and food money.
  • Providing mentor and administrative services; providing (online) language support, allocating licences and proceeding on it.
  • Providing traineeship, social program, integration to local society and reacting to current needs of the volunteers.
  • Organising evaluation process and supporting self-reflection.
  • Dissemination and promotion

    3. Coordinating organizations:

  • Assisting and cooperating the project with other organizations, including the application distribution of finances.
  • Arranging the agreements with all parties, as well as other documents and materials
  • Uploading Mobility Toll with data on volunteers and making sure they are enrolled into Training and Evaluation cycle.
  • Monitoring quality assurance, managing Mobility Tool.
  • Dissemination and promotion.
